Abstract: This resource discusses various aspects of interactive multimedia technology. It primarily concerns factors affecting bandwidth or the amount of information that can be processed or presented in a given unit of time. Bandwidth is defined in the broadest possible sense, and includes a spectrum of factors ranging from information format (analog/digital), to features internal to computers and network technology, to the capacity and transfer rates of storage devices and compression schemas.
